oh this was much much better than Part one. Hogg is masterful at subverting expectations - she really did avoid the temptation to be obvious. something magical happened for the film the second Julie started directing her stand-ins. then just as you think it couldn't get any better than this the end scene happened and it was even more magical. also her/Hogg's wardrobe is to die for.

10.8 LFF #4 Edinburgh Filmhouse. An ambitious piece of work , following the great condition of Abbas. This two-part structure resembles the great Koker trilogy. Based on the already amazing part I, part II managed to touch the very basic of film as an art form. It’s nothing you could except, it’s greater.
